Does anyone else wish we could sort by hand-drawn and hand-painted?
NFTs are officially mainstream, and why not; it’s the future of art, and I’d much rather see it catch on early and evolve at full speed…but why are AI-generated, 8-bit NFTs so popular?
Don’t get me wrong, I love 8-bit art, but I can’t be the only one who prefers to buy things that were created by a human hand with a pencil or a brush in it, right? There’s something special about knowing that my NFT is truly one-of-a-kind and generated by the human spirit, rather than 1s and 0s.
Famed DC comic book artist Rob Prior will be burning a hand-painted original piece on April 28th and minting the NFT version of the piece shortly after. This is the type of spirit I want my NFT collection to have, not 8-bit characters and AI-generated nonsense.
